Newly created Ladakh Police which is at nascent stage of it functioning have been providing unrelenting services to the people in most inhospitable condition to some of the most remote locations in the country. Ladakh police is in its mega transformational phase since its bifurcation from Jammu and Kashmir Police after the implementation of J&K Re-organization Act 2019. As of now, Ladakh Police is one of the youngest Police Force of the country and is striving hard to serve the people of the twin border districts of Ladakh. After assuming charge as Head of Ladakh Police, I have made it my mission to serve the people by implementing various citizen centric policing programs in the region and I am honored to provide leadership at this crucial phase of the history to this newly created force of the country.
